STEPS IN OBTAINING A LEARNERS PERMIT IN GASTON COUNTY
THIS IS NOT YOUR PERMIT, THIS IS THE CLASS TO PREPARE YOU FOR TAKING YOUR PERMIT TEST.

Steps in Drivers Ed:
2. AFTER YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALL 30 HOURS OF CLASS TIME, you will be called to schedule your drive time. It will be a few weeks AFTER class is complete. It will NOT be the day after class.
3.Technically, the oldest in the class is called first, BUT sometimes students have scheduling conflicts..
4. Once you are called to arrange your drive time, it would probably be in your best interest to go ahead and make appointment at the DMV for your permit test. FORTUNATELY, THEY ARE NOW TAKING WALK-INS. THIS IS A GOOD THING FOR YOU!
5.You can go to ANY DMV in NC, it does not have to be a Gaston County DMV.
6.If you miss any time during this class, you will not drive until you make up the time the next class session.
You are NOT getting your permit through this class.
You are getting practice and rules,
You will get your permit at the DMV.
